The election is on!
- Labour will support an election
- No-deal is off the table, so the condition has been met
- We will now launch the most ambitious and radical campaign for real change our country has ever seen
That settles it. The bill today will definitely pass but it is a mere question of whether or not the election will be held on 11 or 12 December.
Cable still seen at weaker levels on the day at 1.2826 currently but off lows earlier in the session around 1.2807.
Update: A bit of a delayed reaction in the pound as cable now jumps to 1.2850. Perhaps algos at play due to a late *important* headline by Bloomberg? (~5 mins later than reported)
