US equity futures are lower, European stocks turn the corner

S&P 500 futures are down 0.2% currently at the lows while Nasdaq and Dow Jones futures are down 0.2% and 0.3% respectively. Despite the lira's recovery on the day, there are still lingering fears in the market that this could all blow up again at any given time.

All it takes is one ill-judged headline and that is enough to tip the scale. Add to the fact that the market is seeing a slow day with less liquidity isn't really helping a case for a potential turnaround.

European stocks have also reversed earlier gains as we move along:

Despite all of this, there isn't any strong signs of risk-off flows just yet as bond yields sit a little lower while yen pairs are still displaying sluggish tones on the day as the currencies market continue to range-trade for the most part.
