Treasury Secretary Mnuchin speaks
Treasury Sec. Mnuchin is saying that he hopes Democrats wil back trade efforts with China.
The response is to a letter to Mnuchin from Senator Chuck Schumer.

Mnuchin has sought a more conciliatory tone in negotations with China which is in contrast to Lighthizer and Navarro. Trump's hard line against China is one thing that has brought Democrats and the Republicans/White House together. Schumer has been a fan of Trump's trade stance.
