Tokyo's main index closes near the lows for the day

Asian equities are not having a good day in the office as the trade rhetoric escalated over the weekend and is causing some nervous and jittery tones in the market to start the week. The fall in the Nikkei here along with lower Treasury yields are what is helping to keep yen pairs lower so far today.
