Latest data released by Destatis - 28 June 2018
- CPI +2.1% vs +2.1% y/y prior
Unchanged from the May reading for Germany's factory state. Overall, the inflation report from the published states are a little softer compared to May's reading I would argue. And the expectations for the national reading is for a +2.1% yearly estimate, lower than the +2.2% reading in May.
Those expectations seem about right this time around, so let's see if the print later at 1200 GMT will show that.
