The kiwi trades flat on the day against the dollar at 0.6519 currently. But in context for how it has performed this year, the currency is among the weakest performers among the major currencies bloc (second worst only to the aussie) as the RBNZ continues to be stay in limbo deciding between a rate hike or rate cut next with the economy performing sluggishly.

Despite rebounding off support from the November 2015 lows, NZD/USD remains very much in a bearish trajectory as the cycle of lower highs, lower lows since May continues.
