This is great news because this is one of the vaccines that's going to be distributed widely in emerging markets.
It's not the 90% effectiveness of Moderna/Pfizer but it's well above the threshold needed to achieve herd immunity.
I'm worried about the covid variant hitting emerging markets and stiffing the 2021 recovery because vaccines are still a long ways off in many parts of the world.
Update: The report says that it's shown 100% efficacy in preventing severe and moderate cases of the virus. That's very encouraging.
