US stocks give back gains
Not so fast.
The S&P 500 is back to flat on the day at 4433 after hitting a record at 4445. The market is waiting for comments from the Fed's Evans (and perhaps Mester) for a signal on the taper timeline.
Any signs of a sharp drop or flattening in US covid cases would also be welcome news.
