That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 146,690 as of today, with the number of deaths reported being 757 persons and taking that total to 14,555 persons.
If anything, this just reaffirms that the flattening of the curve is still going to take more time and that we are still in the early stages of any turning point in the virus trajectory.
Among the figures above, there have been 48,021 cases of recoveries reported with the number of persons admitted to the ICU being just over 7,000 as of yesterday.
