Hints that he may restrict domestic travel

Pres. Trump has extended the travel ban to include the UK and Ireland. The ban will come into effect on Monday at midnight (ET). The ban will not extend to American's abroad but they would need to be tested for the virus on their return through certain limited airports. The ban does not apply to cargo.

Earlier this week, Pres. Trump said that the UK would be exempt from the travel ban announced on March 11. The next day he met with Ireland's PM Varadkar and said that Ireland is included in that exemption. He justified their exemption saying that they "were doing a very good job, they don't have much infection". The two leaders did not shake hands when they met, but exchanged the traditional "nameste" pose where both men put their hands together and bowed (Varadkar is of Indian descent).
