Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope that all of you had a great weekend and that you're ready to get things going here in the new week. It's been a bit of a tame start to proceedings after Friday's wild and exciting day as major currencies are taking a bit of a breather alongside bonds for the time being.

Currencies remain mostly mixed with little change from last week's close though the pound is finding itself on the back foot as May is facing political pressure from all sides with a third meaningful vote this week looking rather unlikely now.

Risk sentiment remains cautious and I reckon all it takes is just one sour note to set things alight today. European equities are set to open softer so the onus will be upon bonds to confirm a further risk-off move later today.
