This is bad news for Iran

"When you look at the Iran deal, I think it's terrible, I guess he thought it was ok. I wanted to either break it, or do something and he felt a little bit differently," he said. "With Mike Pompeo, we have a very similar thought process"

Other reports say Trump has set a deadline of mid-May to 'fix' the Iran deal.

Trump also said he made the North Korea decision by himself.

The State Dept released a statement on Tillerson:

"The secretary did not speak to the president and is unaware of the reason, but he is grateful for the opportunity to serve, and still believes strongly that public service is a noble calling," Goldstein said. "The secretary had every intention of staying because of the critical progress made in national security. He will miss his colleagues at the Department of State and the foreign ministers he has worked with throughout the world."

Separately, last year it was reported that Defense Secretary James Mattis and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin reportedly forged a "suicide pact" with Tillerson in which the others would resign if Trump tried to remove one of them.

Finally, Trump was asked about the poisoning in the UK and he said the UK determined it was Russia and he "would certainly take that as fact" if it was their finding.
