Trump says that Brexit would make no difference to a bilateral US/UK trade deal

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaking in an interview with ITV 15 Monday 2016

Details of the interview with Piers Morgan, due to be aired tomorrow (Monday), have been reported by Reuters this morning.

Last month current US president Obama said the UK would be " at the back of the queue" if voters chose to Leave the EU but Trump has this to say:

"I am going to treat everybody fairly but it wouldn't make any difference to me whether they were in the EU or not. You (the UK) would certainly not be back of the queue."

Trump is yet to achieve office, and the UK is yet to choose Brexit, so talk is cheap and we'll add this to the rest of the "what if" scenarios.

Enjoy the rest of your week-end one and all.
