June preliminary numbers due up

We know that consumers were spending in May, but are they still optimistic in June? This number will encompass more of Trump's escalation in the tariff war and the uncertainty around the Mexican migrant dispute.

The consensus is for a 98.0 reading, down slightly from 100.0 in the final May reading. Also keep an eye on 1-year inflation expectations. They were at 2.9% previously and the Fed will get jittery if they slide further.
