The aim is to pass USMCA before impeachment trial
Several Republican Senators say there is a push to pass the USMCA trade deal before starting a Trump trial, and that the vote could come as soon as Thursday.
Bloomberg reports that several Senate committees have advanced the bill and tomorrow the foreign relations committee and the appropriations committee will both have hearings.
The news may be helping to give a lift to the loonie, but at this point it should be priced in already.
