Another state reading which sees annual inflation higher relative to July. Put together with the earlier data, this fits with the estimate for the national reading to see a higher reading as well later in the day. The estimate is for a 7.8% y/y reading and we should see the actual come in close to that.
Looking out to next month though, be wary of another potential spike in price pressures for Germany as outlined here.
