Major indices move to the upside
The European major stock indices are closed for the day with gains. The provisional closes are showing:
- German DAX, +1.3%
- France's CAC, +1.5%
- UK's FTSE 100, +1.5%
- Spain's Ibex, +0.4%
- Italy's FTSE MIB, +0.4%
in the European debt market, yields are mostly lower. The exception is the UK 10 year with a modest 0.3 basis point gain:
