Markets are not doing what they should do. So stepping back....
The "market" can be uncooperative at times.
It is uncooperative now.
When I speak of "uncooperative" it means that what I see and what "should" happen from what I see, is just not happening technically. That is ok. It still speaks to me. The words are "Step back. Get away".
So what do I see that bothers me.
Looking at the EURUSD, the price fell below the 100 hour MA after testing it for a few hour and holding. The price should go lower. It did a little but the last three hours have seen the price move above and below the MA line.
For the GBPUSD, the price earlier today, moved above the 1.3000 level and quickly failed. OK....More recently the price moved below the lower trend line and that break has failed too. Yuck.
The USDJPY has been trading between the 100 and 200 hour MAs over the last few days. Yesterday, the price peeked above the 200 hour MA a couple times and went no where. Today the same thing.
Maybe, it is saying the dollar buying is really not the way to go? Maybe the low ranges are just messing with the levels that should solicit a reaction? Maybe it is lack of news? Trump out of Washington?
Maybe it just Bitcoin. No! Please don't make Bitcoin the focus of traders!
