Here's the larger option expiries today for the 10.00 EST cut 5 April
Further to Eamonn's earlier post here's the update:
- EURUSD: 1.2200 (EUR 1.1bln) 1.2325 (720m) 1.2360 (1.5bln) 1.2370 (750m) 1.2400 (700m)
- USDJPY: 106.00 (520m) 106.90 (550m) 107.00 (800m) 107.15 (450m) 107.50 (400m)
- GBPUSD: 1.4020 (GBP 230m) 1.4100 (350m)
- USDCAD: 1.2960 (USD 560m)
We've been warning about the large EURUSD interest at 1.2360 (1.5bln) and 1.2400 (1.2bln) which should/has been capping any decent size rallies. Demand at 1.2200 while USDJPY interest between 107.00 and 107.15 helping to cap so far today as I warned in my order board post earlier.
Remember these are vanilla options and in play right up until expiry even if breached in the meantime unlike barrier options which cease to be once broken. Barrier options still live:
- EURUSD 1.2600
- USDJPY 104.00 + 104.50
