Reuters Tankan: Japan manufacturers index +13 in July (vs. +15 in June)

This is the first fall for this index since November 2012.

• Non-manufacturers index +18 in July ( +20 in June) – first fall since February 2013
• The outlook for October manufacturers index is at +15, non-manufacturers +25

(The Reuters Tankan is a monthly survey of leading Japanese companies. The BOJ also conduct a similar survey, the BOJ Tankan, but only quarterly; the Reuters Tankan provides earlier indications than the BOJ’s)
