Not a lot of economic data from the Asian timezone due today, which I am happy about (explain soon).

Here is what is coming up:

2230GMT – Australian Industry Group Performance of Services (aka the AIG Services PMI) for November, prior was 47.9

0001GMT – UK BRC shop price index for November, prior was -0.5%

0030GMT – Australia Q3 GDP:

  • for the q/q, expected is +0.7%, prior was +0.6%
  • for the y/y expected is +2.6%, prior was +2.6%

0145GMT – China HSBC/Markit Services PMI for November, prior was 52.6 (yesterday we had the official service PMI come out at 56.0, slightly below the previous month at 56.3 but still well in ‘expansion’ territory)

Why am I happy it looks like being a little quiet in Asia …?
