The Ukraine central bank has barred citizens from using a card to get foreign exchange and have also said that all cash payments in Ukraine must be made in Hryvnia.
The CB has been intervening in the currency and trying to block flows out of the country, and these latest rules will come into effect tomorrow.

In other news, Ukrainian forces have been told they can pull back from the airport in Luhansk, according to a Ukrainian military spokesman and Angela Merkel has just popped up on Reuters saying that there cannot be a military solution to the crisis but Europe cannot simply accept Russia’s behaviour.
