I bet there’s some very hot phones in Greece right now after PM Antonis Samaras called a presidential election and it looks like the deputy PM Evangelos Venizelos has been summoned to Berlin, no doubt to give some assurances to one of the countries with the largest hand in Greek debt.
Either that or he’s using the trip as an excuse to bail
As I type Samaras has apparently appointed his candidate for the presidential elections. stavros Dimas has been given the nod. He was EU commissioner for the environment between 2004-2009
