Another weak number to follow-up yesterday’s dismal manufacturing sales number. The BOC is due in 90 minutes but policymakers likely got this data point earlier and it would have been the last thing they saw.
Overall, Canada needs to speed-up some of these releases. This is 2015, there’s no way it should take nearly two months to collect and organize November data.
