The Bank of Canada is advertising for a replacement for Mark Carney and looking for someone with “the courage to take a stand.”
They won’t be taking a page out of the BOE playbook, as the ad indicates only Canadian citizens will be considered.
Deputy Governor Tiff Macklem is the prohibitive favorite.
