BOE must now send letter within 7 days

If inflation misses the UK's 2% target by more than 1 percentage point in either direction, the BOE governor is forced to write an open letter explaining why.

The most recent time this took place was February. Here's that letter.

It was published February 8 after a 3.1% print on inflation on December 12 -- a seven week gap. The new rule introduced in the budget tightens that to seven days which will be a useful communication on where the BOE sees inflation.
