If the Fed hikes it means that they have a positive assessment of their economy, which is good
There's no justification for any contagion in Europe from US hike
- The ECB's policies are seen as credible by markets
- ECB stimulus will produce effects

If the impact of our policy is sufficiently strong a long period of low rates won't happen
I'm still not sure what constitutes a "long period" for these guys?
