  • Danske and Nordea banks say that SNB move may put pressure on the Danish central bank to follow suit. Danske says they may need to cut rates
  • November EZ trade balance came out at 20.0bn vs 19.6bn exp. Prior 24.0bn Exports +0.2%. Imports 0.0%
  • German econ ministry sees signs of stronger growth mounting in monthly report
  • Hungary’s fin min says they were proven right to cut fx exposure after SNB move (hungary had a lot of CHF mortgage exposure)
  • Poland’s fin min postpones bond tender deadline after SNB move
  • Switzerland’s SMI index tardes down 11.0% at 8184. Low was 7932
  • Irish Dec HICP -0.3% vs +0.2% prior y/y. -0.4% vs -0.3% prior m/m
  • Fitch says there will be material rating impact if eurozone deflation persists
  • OPEC raise 2015 world oil demand forecast by 30k bpd to 1.15m
  • Cuts 2015 OPEC produced crude forecast by 140k bpd to 28.78m, lowest in more than 10 years
  • Cuts non-OPEC supply growth by 80k bpd to 1.28m
  • Secondary sources say OPEC output was up 142k bpd in Dec vs Nov to 30.20m
  • Saudi output up 20k bpd to 9.63m
  • UBS says direct effect on Swiss goods exporters is around CHF5bn or roughly -0.7% of GDP
