NAB had been forecasting Reserve Bank of Australia rate cuts in July and November  

  • jobs data yesterday evidence economy weaker than the RBA had expected
  • employment strong but other measures indicate spare capacity
  • forward indicators on demand for labour have turned lower

NAB flag the minutes and Lowe's speech due next week as likely to signal a June cut on the way.
