The crux of Japan's problem. The big uphill battle for Abe has been trying to change a mindset that has been entrenched for decades. That's not an overnight fix and highlights what's really at the heart of the issue. Compare apples between the US and Japan and while the US suffered over the crisis, they've bounced back, in no short order due to the mindset of Americans. The Japanese are hugely different in mentality and Abe's finding it tough to change that.

Adam's also informed me it's his 62nd birthday today.

Obviously the MOF couldn't stretch to 62 candles.
