The Atlanta Fed GDP tracker was lowered to 4.0% from 4.2% on Oct 10.

"After this morning's retail sales report from the U.S. Census Bureau, the nowcast of third-quarter real personal consumption expenditures growth fell from 3.6 percent to 3.3 percent," the report said.

The first print on Q3 is due Oct 26.
