Australian Performance of Construction Index from the AiG (Australian Industrcy Group)

  • The index fell in April from a record high in March, and falls again in May
  • Still well in expansion territory
From the report (in brief):
  • All four components of activity expanded strongly in May 2021
  • index for employment hitting a new record high
  • indexes for input prices and selling prices both hit new record highs in May
AUD barely changed.
