UK Brexit secretary Dominic Raab is due to appear in the Commons
The session at the Commons is due to begin at 1230 GMT and Raab will be due to deliver an update on Brexit negotiations some time during the session. At the start of the week, Raab was believed to be working out a proposal on the Irish backstop/border to be sent to the EU prior to tomorrow's meeting between European leaders.
That doesn't appear to be on the cards now and this would mean that the EU Summit next week is likely to be a rather uneventful one with the lack of progress in Brexit talks between the two parties.
But let's see what Raab has to offer later in the day before making our final judgement.
