UK Telegraph reporting, say that UK PM May is considering is considering amending the Good Friday Agreement as part of a fresh attempt to unblock the Brexit logjam

The Good Friday agreement (from 1998) helped (in a major way) to bring end to violent, deadly conflict in Northern Ireland.

As part of proposals for Brexit May is said to be considering rewriting this agreement 'to assure Ireland that the UK is committed to no hard border on the island after the UK leaves the European Union in March'.

Ministers believe it'll help avoid commitment to the backstop.

Whatta we got now, 9 weeks 'til drop dead date or something like that?

Plenty of time. No rush.

LOL.

Perhaps renegotiating the end to WW2 might be an option? Might bring Merkel on side or something.
