GBP/USD up 58 pips to 1.5566 on the day

The pound is lagging the euro but it's still putting up a solid day against the struggling US dollar.
The high so far was 1.5595. Strong offers are protecting 1.5600. More at 1.5620/25, 1.5628 and at 1.5676, which was the July 15 high.
Bids are much lighter and at 1.5545, 1.5500/03 and the European low of 1.5490. More at 1.5469 but trading is light.
