Canada Feb building permits data now out 10 April
- 5.2% prev revised down from 5.6%
- C$ 8.2bln worth of permits issued
- total value of building permits decreased in six provinces in February.
- largest declines were in Quebec and Ontario, while Alberta reported the largest increase followed by Manitoba.
Data following hot on the heels of housing starts just now. Building permits data is released by Statistics Canada and shows the number of permits for new construction projects.
