As much as both sides try to deny that the Huawei case has nothing to do with trade talks, it's certainly part of the backstory and one which influences certain decisions that are made between the two countries.
So far, there's still no concrete word on where and when Trump and Xi will meet; and that should continue to keep markets on edge until we hear further developments.
