Coveney: If UK asks for Article 50 extension, Ireland would not stand in the way

• If UK asks for it, will get consideration at the EU level
• But Ireland would not stand in the way
• There is no pressure to change Ireland's position on the border

As long as there remains no way that Theresa May can get parliament to side with her Brexit deal, this will remain a possibility of happening. It's either that or she postpones the meaningful vote again to see if she can force the EU's hand as we move closer to deadline day.
