Major currencies aren't really doing much so far on the day

The yen is leading gains by a little following a bit of a surge in the past 20 minutes as India-Pakistan tensions are seen escalating after the latter is reported to have shot down two Indian aircraft in its border. That saw risk sentiment take a bit of a hit following a more relaxed session in Asian trading:

Other than that, there isn't much else that has happened in currencies trading with the dollar trading mixed against the rest of the major bloc as markets are settling down following Fed chair Powell's 'patience' preach to Congress yesterday. Trading ranges remain relatively narrow for the most part as we await European traders to join in on the action.

Looking ahead, the major focus is likely to fall back on the pound again with the Brexit motion debate and vote coming up later in the European afternoon to evening.
