The greenback is leading the major currency bloc
EUR/USD and GBP/USD are trading near the lows for the day, both just off session lows of 1.2427 and 1.4148 respectively.
Meanwhile, USD/CAD and USD/CHF are both at session highs for the day at 0.9467 and 1.2865 respectively too.
There isn't much of a catalyst for the dollar demand in the last hour, but it's been quite a recovery for the dollar against some of the major currencies.
EUR/USD was trading at session highs of 1.2476 at the start of European trading, and it's been a quick turnaround since. Same goes for cable as well - in which sterling has been leading the charge to the downside, no thanks to EUR/GBP as Mike pointed out here.
