It's not looking good again in the EM space
The dollar is crushing it once again as it is steamrolling over EM currencies today. Aside from those pegged, all other EM currencies are lower against the dollar in trading thus far.
With trade tensions easing between US and China, you'd think that'll provide some reprieve but the rise in US yields is negating that factor for the most part as it would seem.
The Turkish lira is the worst performer so far today, with the market left in the dark on whether or not the CBRT will move forward with an emergency rate hike to stop the bleeding.
