EUR/JPY has been carried aloft by EUR/USD while USD/JPY has been essentially range-bound. The buck has firmed modestly in its range at midday, supported by modest buying from real-money accounts, dealers report. Early in New York trade the dollar dipped into the 90.20s briefly but it has slowly been grinding high along with the cross for much of the morning.
124.63, 125.05 and most especially 126.23 are levels to watch on strength.
