Eurostoxx futures +0.3% in early European trading

Mild gains in early trades

• German DAX futures +0.4%
• French CAC 40 futures +0.2%
• UK FTSE futures +0.2%

This pretty much mirrors the sentiment seen in US equity futures as we begin the day. E-minis are trading 0.3% higher so far and the cautiously optimistic mood is expected to carry on as we begin the European trading day.

That doesn't leave currencies with much to go on, so expect the focus of markets to shift towards other narratives unless something changes here. USD/JPY sits at 113.45 currently, little changed over the past few hours.
