Latest data released by Eurostat - 29 November 2018

  • Economic confidence 109.5 vs 109.1 expected
  • Business climate indicator 1.09 vs 0.96 expected
  • Industrial confidence 3.4 vs 2.5 expected
  • Services confidence 13.3 vs 13.1 expected

Prior month's release can be found here. The confidence levels are all better than expectations but relative to the prior month, the trend still points to a decline in sentiment. Economic confidence now falls to its lowest level since May 2017 and that won't do the euro much good as investors are continuing to view the Eurozone economy in a negative light as we head into 2019.
