  • Flash GDP +1.7% vs +1.8% y/y expected
  • Prior +2.1%; revised to 2.2%

Certainly not good news for the ECB as quarterly growth slows down to the weakest in 4 years, since Q2 2014. Flagging growth conditions continue to be a cause of concern and this will not bode well for the ECB's normalisation outlook heading into 2019.
