EUR/USD has traded so far in a 25 pip range in a fairly quiet start to the interbank trading week, and is currently quoted at 1.3235. The other major pairings have had similar quiet openings, with USD/JPY at 80.30, cable at 1.6265 and AUD/USD at 1.0460.
Today marks the start of Golden Week in Asia, with many financial centres closed for either one day or more. Tomorrow’s RBA meeting and the Chinese PMI are the next big risk events.
