BERLIN (MNI) – The German Finance Ministry is “not worried” about
the triggering of CDS payments on the Greek debt swap deal, ministry
spokeswoman Marianne Kothe said Monday.

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association on Friday
announced that its EMEA Credit Derivatives Determinations Committee
resolved unanimously that a Restructuring Credit Event has occurred with
respect to Greece.

In other remarks, the Kothe said the ministry was “satisfied” about
the announcement by IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde that she
will recommend a contribution by the fund of E28 billion to the second
Greek aid package.
