The latest update from the NOAA says Sandy is moving North and accelerating.
It’s expected to bring a “life-threatening storm-surge and coastal hurricane winds plus heavy Appalachian snows.” Hurricane force winds forecast from Virginia to Massachusetts.
US stock markets are closed but stock futures will trade until 9:15 am ET (1315 GMT). The bond market recommended close is noon (1600 GMT). Stocks will probably be closed tomorrow as well.
