- expected 1.0%, prior 2.2%, revised from 2.5%
GDP Nominal (seasonally adjusted) for Q4, preliminary q/q: 0.0% ..... miss
- expected 0.4%, prior 0.6% revised from0.8%
GDP Deflator y/y for Q4, preliminary: 0.0% ... in line
- expected 0.0%, prior 0.2%, revised from 0.1%
- an inflation indicator
GDP Consumer Spending y/y for Q4, preliminary q/q: 0.5% ... a beat (Q3 revised lower though)
- expected 0.4%, prior was-0.6%, revised from -0.5%
GDP Business Spending y/y for Q4, preliminary q/q: 0.7% ... and a final miss
- expected 1.1%, prior was 1.0%, revised from 1.1%
Overall that's a bit of a disappointing release compared to expectations. Still, a positive after a good Q3 (it was revised a little lower, though) and a consumption beat. Capex is a miss, but a positive nonetheless.
