Nasdaq is launching options on the Nasdaq-100 Micro Index

The Nasdaq-100 Micro Index was launched only back in January

• is 1/100th the size the Nasdaq 100 Index (which covers 100 of the largest non-financial companies listed by Nasdaq based on market capitalization)

The new options contracts will be available for monthly expiration

• and weekly expirations are set to launch in late May
• will feature cash settlement, European-style expiration
